What's the difference between Layer 4 and Layer 7?
Layer 4 methods target the transport layer (TCP/UDP) and are used to test raw network capacity against IP-based targets. Layer 7 methods target the application layer (HTTP/HTTPS) and are used against URL-based targets, including sites behind Cloudflare and similar protection.
